Many ACET International students stay with carefully selected families while studying at one of our schools. Staying with a host family gives our students a fantastic opportunity to immerse themselves into a new culture and the English language.
Why become a homestay host with ACET?

24/7 support for both the hosts and the students is provided
You will receive payment for hosting a student
We have students from over 100 countries, aging from 14 to 90

You will become part of our widespread and fantastic community of hosts
What do you need to become a homestay host?
At least one spare room that would offer students the space to both sleep and study
A home no further than 40 minutes by public transport to Cork city centre
An enthusiasm for sharing your culture and experiences with others, whilst simultaneously learning about theirs
Absolutely everything else is flexible!
