The best city about Cork is the beautiful views they have and the amazing people that live in here. I found ACET through their website when I was looking for English Schools in Cork 2 months ago. They helped me a lot because the first day my teacher asked me what my goals were and he took up new activities to achieve them. I find it good that now there are few Japanese students in the school, so I have to force myself to speak English all the time. I would recommend ACET because you can make a lot of new friends from different nationalities and is a very good experience

Cork is a small city. The thing that I enjoy the most is living close to the city center. You don't need to take the bus, you can go everywhere just walking 15/20 minutes. In your free time you can stay in the city center and just wander around. You can also take the bus and get closer to the sea to enjoy some small Irish towns. When I arrived I had a really friendly, fun and funny teacher. Always present to help and explain. I changed the class to prepare for the exam with another very professional teacher, able to assist us with all we need to know about the exam. All of the admin staff is proactive and reactive. They are very helpful and supportive with the student's requests. One of the most obvious aspects in studying and living abroad is discovering news and different cultures. Not only the Irish one but also the culture of our new friends at school. During each class we have to share our own experience to practice and give examples, so we can share a little bit of our culture about things that we are proud of. We can also learn from our classmates.

The funny and entertaining teachers helped me to reach my language goals really quickly. I have been studying here for three months and I already moved from basic to intermediate level. I love the Corkonian people and the exceptional Irish nature.
